A key figure of French Energy market

Created from the merger of Poweo and Direct Energie, Direct Energie is now the 3rd player on the French electricity and gas market and already secured the loyalty of over 1.6 million customers on mass market (1 012 000 customer sites in electricity and 276 000 in gas, on the 31th December 2014). Direct Energie also developed its activity among companies and local authorities up to more than 100 000 delivery locations.

 Since over 10 years, the group founds its success on its technical expertise, its excellent customer relationship and its ability to innovate. 8 titles “Service client de l’année” awarded its activity development.

An ambitious development strategy

As an integrated player in Energy, from the production and supply of energy to in-house services, the group pursuits an industrial development strategy of its production means and goes for important and credible ambitions regarding deployment and profitability on a very promising market.

Direct Energie develops its production means with the construction of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) of 400 MW in Landivisiau (Finistère), in answer to a call for tenders made by the State and won by the consortium Direct Energie Siemens.

The group keeps innovating throughout many projects and offers, which allow to modulate and manage one's consumption (Modelec), to reduce one's consumption (Tribu offer), to take part in the protection of environment (Pur Jus offer) etc.

Also, Direct Energie makes a step change by launching its international development with the commercialization of its offers (electricity and gas) in Wallonie (Belgium), since July 1st 2014. The group wants to consolidate its position by taking advantage of the acceleration of the competition development in Energy supply in Europe, and aims for a deployment on the totality of Belgium territory in 2015.
